STORYBOARD
We wanted to illustrate our two concepts for the clothes in a series of contrasting frames. It begins with light, colour, and flare. The model moves into the shot, she is moving in some way (dancing, spinning, walking...). We follow her movements somewhat loosely with the camera, moving in and out of focus as she moves. In these types of frames, the ambiance is more important than the clothing itself. This is in sharp contrast to the alternating frames which will be technically precise, b&w, smooth pans over the clothing, the model, details. These shots may also have tiny movements, such as a finger playing with a lapel. The two types of shots will flip back and forth throughout the ad until 3 outfits have been shown. At the end, the model will move towards the camera, do something cute/silly, and then run away out of focus.
We are also thinking we may use some kind of tribal/roots rhythm over the b&w shots, with a song over the color shots.
